About
As the first B’nei Noah council to have the official recognition and continued guidance and support of an active rabbinical court in Israel, it is our immediate goal to serve and to aid in organizing the worldwide community of B’nei Noah. To achieve this, first and foremost, we have dedicated ourselves to upholding the Light of Torah and to spreading the teachings as embodied in the Seven Laws of Noah, also known as the Seven Universal Laws. They are:
- Against Idolatry
- Against Blasphemy
- Against Theft
- Against Forbidden Sexual Relations
- Against Murder
- Against Eating the Limb of a Living Animal
- For Establishing Courts of Justice
Every person on the planet is required by the Creator to uphold these commandments, just as every Jew is required to uphold the 613 mitzvoth (commandments). The Noahide Laws, in their simplest form, offer a template for an ethical way of life that promotes peace and goodwill. If you are reading these laws for the first time and choose from this day forward to do all in your power to observe them, then you will be aiding in the repair of the world.
As with many of our fellow Noahides, the core members of the High Council of B'nei Noah have long seen the need to standardize teachings, celebrations and prayers for non-Jews. To this end we seek to expand the membership of this council to include others worldwide who have demonstrated a solid knowledge of Torah and a genuine respect for the Jewish People in their role as our priesthood. We are working with the supervision, guidance and support of the rabbinical court for Noachides, in Jerusalem, to help unify all Torah believers in their worship of the One, True G-d of Israel. We do this, not for honor, not for gain, but for the sake of heaven.
